Traveling with the Tigers

Travel is a necessity in athletics, and college basketball is no exception. The Tigers began its basketball season on Nov. 3 at FedExForum in Memphis, Tenn.

Four months, 35 games, and 13 cities later, Memphis wrapped up its 2010-11 campaign with a loss to Arizona on MArch 18 in Tulsa, Okla. Being successful on the road is something that takes time to learn how to do, and Memphis’ season reflects that.

The Tigers won their first contest away from home – a 71-60 victory over LSU in Tupelo, Miss. – but would drop its next three road contests before finally breaking through against Southern Miss in Hattiesburg. Below is a map of every city Memphis played in the season along with the name of the arena and the date on which the Tigers played in each respective city.
